The 6th and 7th of December marked the lighting of the Christmas’ trees and the holiday decorations of the capital of the country.
This year finds Tirana with two festive squares and Christmas villages, opened and decorated for citizens of all ages, the “Skanderbeg” Square and Creative Square of the “New Bazaar”.
Christmas Villages and playgrounds located in both squares, have created a warm atmosphere while serving food and seasonal drinks and promoting local and social businesses of the city and in the region.
Mayor Veliaj and other leaders of the local government, during the short and festive celebrations of the lighting of the Christmas’ trees invited Tirana’s citizens to share gifts of the season with people who need support, elderly, people in need or disabled ones, those who face poverty and the ones who suffer consequences of the floods of a few days ago in our country.
