“This summer do not leave Tirana; in June, Rita Ora and Ermal Meta will spark Skanderbeg Square!”

This summer Tirana will be the station of the world music stars. At the festive concert held on 1st May in the “Skanderbeg” square, the mayor of Tirana, Mr. Erion Veliaj, gave the good news that in the capital will come some world-famous artists whom will perform for the Albanian public.
“This will be a fantastic summer for Tirana. Therefore, it is good to go to the beach during the day, but evenings should be passed in Tirana because there will have endless activities. On May 9th, we will celebrate Europe’s Day with a great concert. On May 12th there will be organized the “Colors’ Festival” at Mother Theresa Square, while the international pop star Ermal Meta will come on June 1st”, said Mr. Veliaj, while revealing that on June 3rd another important name of the international pop scenes will come in Tirana, whom likewise Ermal is of Albanian origin.
“On June 3rd will be here Rita Ora. But since you are so enthusiastic, I’m not revealing the other surprises of June and July, but I know that you have voted endlessly and we will do our utmost to ensure that all artists who have a tour in Europe, will have a station in Tirana, ”assured Mr. Veliaj.
The head of the Tirana Municipality stated that as in these three years Tirana has faced a profound transformation through numerous works accomplished, and will continue the festive activities for revitalizing the artistic life of the capital. “Our dream is to continue even this year just like we’ve done these three years with a lot of work, but with a lot of fun. Those who do a lot of work need a lot of fun also,” said Mr. Veliaj.
Meanwhile, on the afternoon of 1st May, under the motto “Together with the young people for Albania that works”, Tirana Municipality hosted a concert at Skanderbeg Square, with the best national artists which electrified citizens whom had filled the square, in a concert dedicated to them.
Some of the most beloved voices of youth such as: Ledri Vula, Arilena Ara, Yll Limani, Alban K. Ramosaj, Filloreta Raci, Argentina Ramosaj and DJ Aldo sparked the biggest Albanian square with their modern music.
