Today, on December 21, 2015 in the premises of the Regional Council of Tirana was signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Observatory for Children’s rights with the purpose of collecting the relevant data and other activities which will be undertaken.
The memorandum was signed by Vice President of the Regional Council of Tirana Ms. Bora Panajoti and Executive Director of the Observatory for Children’s rights Mrs. Elma Tërshana.
Vice president Ms. Bora Panajoti expressed the commitment of the institution she represents to support the Observatory for the Children’s rights with information, documentation and where is possible with necessary administrative support in data collection.
Ms. Panajoti emphasized that the Regional Council of Tirana with give its help in increasing institutional cooperation with “Observatory” with other local structures in Tirana region as well as monitoring and evaluating at any time the collected data.
Among others, Vice President of the Regional Council of Tirana said that this institution will participate in the activities and initiatives that will organize the Observatory and will cooperate on various initiatives to guarantee the rights of children and youth.
The project aims to assist in fulfilling national strategies drafted by the Albanian government focused on children’s rights.
