In the framework of the “Open Days of IPA Adriatic CBC” was organized a roundtable discussion “Prevention and fight against financial irregularities and fraud in the European Territorial Cooperation Programmes” of the IPA Adriatic CBC.
It comes as the realization of one of the objectives of the International Conference on the same topic, held in Rome on April 20, 2016, aimed at developing a number of roundtables working on the same topic, on the participating countries in the program of IPA Adriatic CBC 2013- 2017.
The event was opened by Mr. Nikola Dobroslavić, President of Adriatic Ionian Euroregion and also President of the Region of Dubrovnik which evaluated the importance of this project as an opportunity to see sustainable development of the belonging countries to this program.
President of the Regional Council of Tirana also Vice President of the Adriatic Ionian Euroregion, Mr. Aldrin Dalipi, Mr. Luciano D’Alfonso, President of the region of Abruzzo, Italy, also Vice President of the Adriatic Ionian Euroregion addressed the roundtable, focusing on the details of the potential benefits of a coordinated response of the region on such a delicate issue.
Emphasizing the spirit of cooperation among the regional countries of the Managing Authority of the IPA Adriatic CBC, President of the Regional Council of Tirana, stressed that welcomes the organization of the next roundtable, in Tirana at the end of June, in close coordination with the Managing Authority of the IPA Adriatic CBC and all institutions of local and central government that contribute in this direction.
The roundtable was organized in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
