President of the Tirana Region welcomes the Secretary General of the Qatar Red Crescent

President of the Tirana Regional Council, Mr. Aldrin Dalipi together with the Deputy Chairwoman, Ms. Bora Panajoti and the Secretary of the Council, Mr. Agron Agalliu welcomed the Secretary General of the Red Crescent of Qatar, Ambassador Ali Bin Hassan Al-Hammadi accompanied by the President of the Albanian Red Cross Mr. Ylli Alushi and their humanitarian mission associates.
The Head of Tirana Regional Council appreciated the importance of deepening the cooperation between the Red Crescent of Qatar, the Albanian Red Cross and Local Government in Tirana with the aim of social treatment and the encouragement in solidarity and volunteering towards the vulnerable groups, and the exchange of experience in this direction.
“Tirana has already 7 Social Centers including the Red Cross center where daily services are provided for people in need,” said Mr. Dalipi, while emphasising the fact that it can be dane more in this regard.
The interlocutors agreed to intensify concrete cooperation in the future.
Mr. Ali Bin Hassan Al-Hammadi was appraised by Mr. Dalipi with the title of Gratitude from the Tirana Regional Council for his contribution to the humanitarian field, being an encouraging example for all.
