Students of the high school “Aleksander Moisiu” in Kavaja, become part of the initiative of the Regional Council of Tirana, “Cinema close to the Youth “, and watched a movie at the Palace of Culture in that City.
The initiative of Tirana Region, which started in December, made possible, in cooperation with all cinemas of Tirana to reduce the price of the ticket for young people that attended them, one day per week. This initiative aims to cultivate the movie’s culture to young people, and provide the same opportunities on this regard to all youth of the Region, to those who live in Tirana and its surroundings, as well as to youngsters living to other cities or villages of Tirana Region.
Mr. Aldrin Dalipi the President of Regional Council of Tirana who attended this event said that: “This is a manifestation of the good will to bring youth closer to the movies”.
Under this initiative, in other municipalities part of the Region of Tirana, where there are not cinemas, films will continue to be shown, for free, in public places suitable for this purpose, putting these facilities in service of youth and bring to the attention of the relevant local authorities, the need for investments of this nature .
“This initiative will replicate in other municipalities of the Region of Tirana, such as Kamza, Vora and Rrogozhina. Cinema is an added value; it enriches your day and takes you away from the routine of useless coffees and misusing your precious time. Watching a good movie with a message and then discussing with your peers about it, is something useful for you, and it‘s our duty to create the premises for these kinds of activities “, said Mr. Dalipi.
