Central and Local Self-Government Consultative Council meeting: the Association of Albanian Regional Councils discusses the necessity of functional Land Protection Inspectorates

On 1st November 2017, under the moderation of Mr. Erion Luçi, Deputy Minister of Finance of Albania, and Mr. Erion Veliaj, Mayor of Tirana, was held the scheduled meeting of the Central and Local Self-Government Consultative Council on the Draft-law on the State Budget for 2018.
Under the auspices of the President of the Association of Albanian Regional Councils, Mr. Aldrin Dalipi, to the Council were presented the concerns about the challenges of establishing and functioning of the Land Protection Inspectorates in the Regions, and the hindering that this situation entails in the fulfillment of their legal obligations. The AARC’s request was taken into account by Mr. Luçi and was forwarded to the respective committees in the Albanian Parliament. Ms. Ana Verushi, President of Korça Regional Council and Mr. Ervis Moçka, President of Vlora Regional Council represented AARC at this meeting.
Focused on discussing the Draft-law on the State Budget for 2018, during the meeting were provided presentations of the draft-law for the unconditional transfer of 2018 toward local government units in figures and percentages.
