President of Tirana Regional Council also Chairman of Municipal Council of Tirana, Mr. Aldrin Dalipi held a meeting with Mr. Claus Neukirch, Head of the Office of the Council of Europe in Tirana.
They talked about the situation in general in the local government and the role of local councils in strengthening cooperation among the community and local institutions.
During the meeting, there was discussed about the social, economic and educational development of the peripheral areas of the regions, as well as the replication of positive examples and projects that give results that enable the advancement of a healthy territory for all citizens.
An important issue of discussion was the increased role of the Albanian delegation with representatives of local government in the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities
