On 7th October 2015 in the hall of the Municipal Council of Tirana was held the first meeting of the Regional Council of Tirana, which was called and was led by the Mayor of Tirana, Mr.Erion Veliaj.
President of the Regional Council was elected Mr. Aldrin Dalipi, at the first meeting of the Regional Council, by unanimous vote, while vice president was elected Mrs. Bora Panajoti.
Tirana Region consists of the municipalities of Tirana, Kavaja, Vora Kamza and Rrogozhinë.
